ABOUT US
Marshall Arts at a glance

2006 saw Marshall Arts celebrate 30 years in the entertainment industry. The company has assumed many different roles over those years - Artiste's Management, Agency, Production & Site Co-ordination, all logistics relating to the presentation of events, but primarily have Promoted and arranged international and, indeed, worldwide tours for many major Artistes.

The Artistes with which the company have been associated are extremely varied, and we have been fortunate to have maintained longstanding relationships with many of them including Paul McCartney, Tina Turner, Bon Jovi, Elton John, Cher, Joe Cocker, Lionel Richie, Elton John, George Michael, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Annie Lennox, Al Jarreau, and many more!

Highlights have included promoting worldwide tours with Paul McCartney since 1989 - one of which included his record-breaking appearance at the Maracana Stadium in Rio, where he appeared to 184,000 people! and the 2002/3 'Driving' World Tour which was the highest grossing tour of the year - visiting the USA, Canada, Mexico and Japan! We were also able to 'create' sites such as the Arena that was devised on the Docks in Liverpool for 50,000 people - as no venue was large enough for him to perform in his hoe town.

We have also organized events at Woburn Abbey, one of the most beautiful Stately Homes in Britain - presenting concerts with Tina Turner, Dire Straits, and diversely with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. More recently we created seated concert arenas in stunning settings, at a series of other Stately Homes around the UK, for solo concerts by Sir Elton John.

We co-promoted the Nelson Mandela Tribute at Wembley Stadium in 1988 which featured a host of Artistes including Whitney Houston, Simple Minds, Dire Straits, Stevie Wonder, and was televised worldwide. We have also presented various Asian concerts, and staged the first 'seated' event at Wembley Stadium with a huge 'Bollywood Style' production.

More recently we promoted the first concert at the newly opened Wembley Stadium with George Michael, selling an incredible 120,000 tickets across the two days, and were promoters of the first concert at the newly opened Hampden Park with Rod Stewart. We have also been the first promoter to stage concerts in Norwich (Carrow Road), Plymouth (Home Park), Reading (Madejski Stadium) and Southampton (St Mary) and utilised previously unused stadium venues for our artists with others following suit.

Whilst we are fortunate to work with many world-renowned, established Artistes, we are excited to have the chance to start at 'ground floor' level with new talent and 'grow' with them. This was certainly the case with Whitney Houston, Backstreet Boys, Mary J. Blige, Destinys Child, Pink, Katie Melua and Lemar. We continue to be on the look out for new and exciting talent from whichever musical background to help succeed.
